Launch Compass / SASS with a different version

I am trying to find a good solution working on two different compass projects. One is based on Compass using Blueprint (an older version), and the other is based on a susy grid (newer version).

Currently, I have to reinstall the correct version for the watch process.

Is it possible to run compile with the specified version? It would be great if you could also start the watch process with the specified version.

Launch as

 compass _0.10.5_ compile

will do what you want. (Where you put the right version instead of 0.10.5, obviously.)

The tool you are looking for is most likely rvm , which allows you to install different versions of rubies / stones and easily switch between them.

Perhaps there is an easier way. If you can use something like Codekit or Livereload, these tools allow you to use the built-in sass libraries or define your own.

So you can use the built-in libraries for one project and your own for other projects.

The RVM suggested above also works, I believe, but have never tried it myself.
