We donβt have much work, since no one has sent any code to study the problems, but I will try to solve this issue in a general sense:
It is very unlikely that this is caused by some error in the Tumblr API. Most likely, this caused either a missed step in the authentication process, or a typo, or some minor error. Here is a link to the previous question about error 401 , and the problem was traced back to a typographical error. Here's another question about the same error , where the answer mentions a problem with a plus sign in the signature, as well as providing some resources for further troubleshooting. Probably, the problems causing the same error for other people are similar and cannot be confirmed, except by carefully updating the code.
If, however, someone reading this believes that they are experiencing a deeper problem, they should be free to provide sample code that can be used to study other possible explanations.
