ActionBar and ActionBar.Tab and android navigation box

I am using the action bar with android-support-v7-appcompat, as well as using the navigation box above it.

In one of my snippets, if I use ActionBar.Tabs, the tabs are superimposed on the navigation box, and the box gets lower than the ActionBar tabs.

How can I create an action bar, for example, in the Google Play app or the Google app. Bookmarks should also fall behind as a fragment. How can I do the same with android-support-v7-appcompat libs support

For the tab bar, try ViewPagerIndicator http://viewpagerindicator.com/ This is a very good implementation for the tab bar.

When we use the default tab bar with the action bar, in landscape mode it will be merged into one line. Therefore, it is better to use the above library.

I think you better use a library like ViewPagerIndicator . The ActionBar is recognized as a decor and displayed on top of the window, and DrawerLayout is drawn as an object in the window.

Not sure if they will fix it in a future edition, but ViewPagerIndicator is pretty easy to configure and configure anyway.

Roman Nurik says that the navigation box should not be used with the tabs of the action bar.
