How to use Application Loader to send an application to the application store?

How to publish an application in the iOS app store using Application Loader? I do not know how to get the file for Application Loader to search. Please tell me in simple steps. Thanks!

Follow these steps:

  1. In Xcode, go to Product > Archive (*)

  2. Click the Distribute App button, then select the iOS App Store > Export and note the location of the export file.

  3. From the menu, go to XCode > Open Developer Tool > Application Loader

  4. Follow the instructions, specifying the .ipa export file from step 2. That's it!

(*) if the " Archive " menu option is not available, change the device to "iOS Common Device" in the upper left corner.

Follow this link

https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/LanguagesUtilities/Conceptual/iTunesConnect_Guide/Chapters/SubmittingTheApp.html

Install the certificate and proceed to configure project builds in Xcode. Locate the Code Signing section and set all the elements to iPhone Distribution: Your Company Name. Now select "Archive" from the product menu in Xcode.

Then go to iTunes connect and select "Add New Application" in the My Applications section. First create a new package (make sure the application IDs match!), And then add the application.

After you finish adding screenshots and general information, be sure to click "ready to add binary". This is all you need to do when connecting iTunes.

Go back to xCode and open "Organizer" ("Window - Organizer"). On the "Archives" tab, you should see the archive for your application. Confirm it and select "Export" to save the archive as a .ipa file for the App Store.

Then open the application loader (just find it in the spotlight). Select "Deliver Application." When prompted, select the previously created ipa file.

No need to use Application Loader to submit applications to the App Store. In Xcode, make sure you select the physical device in the upper left corner, then select Product β†’ Archive from the menu. After that, provided that no errors have occurred, the Organizer should appear automatically, and on the β€œArchive” tab you can send your application to the App Store by selecting Distribute .

The application loader will not allow you to log in with your normal icloud password. Remember to create an application specific password for you.

  • Go to: https://appleid.apple.com/
  • Log in and go to the Security section.
  • Click Create Password
  • Use this password to log in to Application Loader.

In xCode 11, the application loader has been removed. https://developer.apple.com/app-store-connect/whats-new/?id=submissionsupdate7-31

I found on the Adobe forum: https://community.adobe.com/t5/Animate/Xcode-11-don-t-have-application-loader/td-p/10516050

The suggestion was, use xcrun ... on the terminal; but this did not work for me :-(

 xcrun altool --upload-app -f <file> -t <platform> -u <username> -p <password>

I installed xCode 11.1 xCode 10.3 in parallel and was able to use the old Application Loader

The application loader no longer comes with Xcode 11+. For a good automated tool, you can use the iTMSTransporter built-in command line tool by running xcrun iTMSTransporter . More info here .
