Meteor as a native OSX or Windows 8 application

Is there a way to take my meteor app and turn it into my own desktop app on OSX or Windows 8? Something that I can post on the App Store or post a download link as a DMG on my website?

I am looking for something pretty easy to use. It looks like Phonegap for the desktop, with the exception of meteor and node.js.

There is a project for this. This is still in its early stages, but you should be able to create an application with it. This is a way to interact with your Meteor server application via DDP and connect this data in an iOS application.

MacGap2 allows you to do this. Basically, it just allows you to run HTML / JS / CSS-based applications as a native OSX application.
