Schema check: missing table [hibernate_sequences]

Question

I am using Spring 4.3.3.RELEASE, Hibernate 5.2.2.Final, the database is MySQL. I wanted to try strategy = GenerationType.TABLE . As I know for GenerationType.SEQUENCE I need sequences in the database to generate identifiers.

The exception occurs because you did not mention generator in @GeneratedValue . Below is an example
