Failed to view ganglia toolbar.

Question

I did the ganglia setup using rpm files,

OS: centOS 6.3 Server; httpd 

gmond and gmetad are running when I load it in a browser, getting a "Forbidden error"

 Forbidden You don't have permission to access /ganglia on this server. 

I can also see eroor in / etc / httpd / logs / error _log

 [Wed May 07 10:50:42 2014] [error] [client 118.102.239.85] client denied by server configuration: /usr/share/ganglia 

please help me solve this problem.

Edit the file /etc/httpd/conf.d/ganglia.conf and add the following

 #Deny from all Allow from all Require all granted 

It should work with the above settings.

If you do not try to change the owner for

 /usr/share/ganglia 

to what is set in

 /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf 

To verify the user, try the following commands:

 grep -i user httpd.conf chown -R <user>:<user> /usr/share/ganglia 

Also make sure

 /var/lib/ganglia/rrd 

owner - ganglia

 chown -R ganglia:ganglia /var/lib/ganglia/rrd*
