ActionBar - PullToRefresh

Question

I am developing an application where you can view BusStop schedules. Users can be updated using the ActionBar PullToRefresh (Library). My app also has a translucent status bar on KitKat enabled.

Now the ActionBar Overlay, which should normally overlap the action bar, now moves up.

How can i solve this?

What I did was create a custom header layout for the pull-to-refresh layout. I just copied the original by adding the height of the status bar, which is usually 25dp, and added the top addition of 25dp.

Now set the layout when configuring pull to update the layout:

 ActionBarPullToRefresh.from(getActivity()).listener(new OnRefreshListener() { @Override public void onRefreshStarted(View view) { refresh(); } }).headerLayout(R.layout.header).build()).setup(ptrLayout);
