Firefox accept accept attribute

Question

According to MDN, accept=[MIME type] supported in Firefox. However, I tried the following to no avail:

 <input type="file" accept="text/html">

It does not filter HTML files: demo .
Is this a mistake or am I missing something?

This is a known Firefox bug:

Fortunately, it seems that a problem has been fixed that should be addressed in the near future.

I think this is a mistake or not yet fully implemented.
