How to add caption to image in Confluence Ondemand?

I pasted the image into the Confluence page. There seems to be no way to add a title for a brief explanation of the image.

I found a link - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Displaying+Images , which "explains" how to add a signature.

Add a caption to the image:

  • Select “Effects” in the image properties panel and select “Instant Camera Effect”. Save the page.
  • Choose Tools> Attachments to go to the Attachments view on the page.
  • Select Properties next to the image file.
  • Add a comment to the application . The text in your comment appears as the image title.

When I follow the instructions, I do not see the properties for the image or comment.

My workaround is to add a 1x2 cell table that contains the image in the top cell and the header in the bottom.

The natural implementation will be great.

Like Olivia Gajadhar’s answer, Atlassian added a workaround to add a comment to the Instant Camera effect; see the documentation for more details.

Unfortunately, Atlassian does not have their actions together and signatures for the real have not yet been implemented. See Error Confluence CONF-2584 .

I see that this question is quite old, and no one seems to have answered it, so I hope I can help.

I use Confluence Cloud (formerly Confluence Ondemand), and the way to add a title is that instead of clicking on Instant Camera under the effects, I click on Title. From there I enter the text I want in the title field. When you save your changes, a title should appear after you hover over the image.

Adding text over the image and centering it will do the trick.

I added a comment in the attachments in the "File Properties" section and used the "Instant Camera" template, but the text still does not appear under the image in the place where it was supposed to. Use the latest version of Confluence Cloud.
