EKEvent accept the invitation

How do you accept the EKEvent invitation on iOS? I know that this is possible, since Fantastical, Calendars 5 and other calendar applications have this functionality, but I do not see a public property that is not read-only to change the status of the user regarding the event. Any idea how to do this?

It turns out that after doing some more research, all these applications simply display the EKEventViewController . That I was wrong, since the setting was actually a display of shades.
