Cookie support in cordova official documentation

I read a lot of questions, asking if there is cookie support in the cord / phone break, like the following

When I search with google, I can’t find the Cordova documentation that says if there is support for cookies. Where should I look at this? one of the most significant links is this cookie handling in PhoneGap / Cordova , in which we can read "

  • JavaScript cookies can set document.cookie = ... , but they are not saved in PhoneGap and are lost . Before running xhr requests, it works.
  • Cookies can be restored after an xhr request using xhr.getResponseHeader ('Set-Cookie'). But only when it is really installed on the server. Unfortunately, jQuery breaks the cookie header.

I don’t want to know how to store such information, I understood and used local storage only for the test in my application, but I want to understand whether the support for cookies is stated or not in the official documentation from Cordova, as it seems that I can’t find him ..

any clue is really appreciated .. thanks ..

In the official documentation, support for cookies was not indicated. Their link is in the Cordova JIRA CB-8026 element that is included in the Android files of third-party developers.

There is currently work in the Cordoba team (as of May 2015) to clarify this item in the documentation
