I would like to activate a simple git pull using trickle . It seems like it should be easy: trickle -d 100 git pull , but when git shows its bandwidth, it still fluctuates around 3.3 MiB / s for me, much more than the estimated maximum of 1000 Kb / s.
I am discouraged by the fact that it seems that the trickle has not been updated after 8 years, but I hope that I can solve this problem.
Other random information you might find helpful:
- Fedora 20
trickle -V : trickle: version 1.07git --version : git version 1.9.0- I also use a
hub , but I tried with and without a hub. I do not see any difference. - I am using zsh.

Of course, I am more than happy to provide any other information. Thanks.
