Mark text in Interface Builder as not requiring translation

I use dummy text in Interface Builder. Here is an example.

MYNAME not a text interface, and it is programmatically set to viewDidLoad . Is it possible to mark this in a special way so that by default my translation files are excluded?

If you use ibtool to set up strings for localization / translation, you cannot exclude words directly. Use the --export-XLIFF option on ibtool to create the XLIFF file. Then you edit the excluded lines in the XLIFF file by adding the attribute translate="no" . Then the edited XLIFF file goes to translators who (hopefully) can use it.
