CFNetwork and Bonjour integration for iPhone and Mac integration

I want to use CFNetwork and Bonjour to be able to communicate between my iPhone application and Mac. The application on the iPhone will have one button. Then, a shortcut appears in the Mac application. If the button is pressed in the iPhone application, the shortcut changes in the Mac application.

Is there an example code that can do this? If not, can someone lead me in the right direction?

Thank!

Bill Dudney created a sample iPhone application for Bonjour to demonstrate how to use Bonjour to discover and connect to two iPhones. I ported this example on a Mac to demonstrate how to make Bonjour discovery between two platforms. Bill also gives a good description of how he put together the Bonjour shell used in this example.

This is a very simple example, and with the Mac and iPhone clients it does what you need. Only minor modifications should be needed.

I show this in action in a video for the Network session of my Advanced iPhone Development course on iTunes U.
