Maven deploy + nexus failed to complete an unsuccessful request

Question

I am having some problems with the build process.

The build ends fine, and Jenkins starts uploading files to the nexus. everything works well, but then for some reason it fails, the strangest part is that the file mentioned so as not to be downloaded is actually downloaded, and I can find it in nexus.

My colleague just ran into the same problem when maven tried to download artifacts twice. We found help on the forums, links below. Bae's answer did the trick for us:

Try running mvn -Prelease-profile help: effective-pom. You will find that you have two run sections for maven-source-plugin

To fix this problem, find wherever you used the maven-sources-plugin and make sure that you use the "id" attach-sources so that it is the same as the release profile. then these sections will be merged. Best practice says that to get you need to configure this in the root pump of your project in assembly> pluginManagement and NOT in your child. In the pom child, you simply specify in the build> plugins that you want to use the maven-source-plugin, but you are not doing anything.

Nexus accepts the download, but says that it failed and the Maven release plugin does not work: the original artifacts are deployed twice

I also ran into this problem. In my case, I configured the Nexus repository policy to accept release artifacts, but I actually pushed the snapshot artifact to the repo. Since I wanted a snapshot replica, I just changed the policy and everything was fine.

It happened to me. In my case, I deployed the release version. To fix, make sure the version number does not yet exist on Nexus. If this is a multi-module project, check also the versions of the sub-modules.
