Stop loading emacs configuration file by setting a breakpoint

Question

I am rewriting the .init Emacs file. I would like him to be able to download it at certain points. This is similar to inserting a breakpoint, but has nothing to do with debugging.

I tried using 'throw' and 'catch', but that is not quite what I am looking for.

You can add (debug) to suitable places. This will open a debugger window where you can press c to continue and q to exit.
