Old SQL History at Oracle SQL Developer

In SQL Developer, I found some SQL commands of the previous month, but could not find it, since it only shows records from the last 4-5 days.

Is there a way to find old SQL commands that do not appear on the SQL History tab.

Thanks.

As Oracle has documented, there is an SQL History folder and it is larger (has more SQL queries that return in about a year) than the SQL History toolbar (a couple of months).

Here are the contents of the SQL History toolbar:

SQL History tool bar

Regarding the SQL History folder, release notes cite this location in Windows 7:

C: \ Users \ your_user_name \ AppData \ Roaming \ SQL Developer \ SqlHistory

Although this folder contains SQL history, it also contains: custom reports and custom fragment files (for example, see 3.1 Sql Developer Release Notes ) Here is my History History folder:

I do not see any documentation for sizing.

In SQL Developer, to change the limit, go to: Tools -> Preferences .

In this section, select:

Database –> Worksheet –> SQL History Limit

Change it the way you want. (In 4.0.1.14, the maximum was 999999999.)

Hope this helps.

Sincerely.

You can try

View> SQL History

For example, see this image: enter image description here

If your queries are still in shared_pool, you can use v$sql and v$sqlarea . They will be washed regularly, but you can find them before this period of time.
