Question

How to watch a live meeting of recorded videos? After upgrading from IE10 to IE11, I can’t watch the video.

Error: Locale information could not be loaded.

Click OK to close the playback window.

Click “Cancel” to save the current playback window, but playback will stop.

You can also use "Recording Converter for Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007" to convert recordings to a wmv file.

Actually it is a little easier than at first :-)

We often meet with the meetings that we record for Lidnug, especially if there were problems with the channel during recording.

The problem is actually basically the problem of IE11: between IE10 and IE11, something broke that the LM JavaScript engine did not like.

However, since the goal is to play them, and they play normally in IE10, you need to do the following:

1) Download the meeting in IE11, as usual, say yes about any blocked alerts, etc.
2) When you receive a window with a complaint about not downloading the locale, click "CANCEL", DO NOT FIND , click "OK", as this will close the browser window!
3) When you press "CANCEL", the LM engine will be loaded, but nothing will play.
4) Press F12 to open the developer tools.
5) Click on the bottom icon on the developer toolbar on the left (looks like a monitor next to it)
6) The panel will change to "Emulation Mode"
7) The upper left corner has a drop-down menu called "Document Mode", change it from "EDGE by default" to "10"
8) Everything will be fine, your browser window will be updated, and everything should begin.
