Map UIActivityViewController to ActionSheet not Popover

Question

In iOS 7, the UIActivityViewController can be presented on the iPad and iPhone at the bottom of the screen with a cancel button at the bottom.

With iOS 8, it seems that the UIActivityViewController wishes to be presented in a pop-up window on the iPad.

Is there a way to present the UIActivityViewController in the tab bar so that it looks the same on the iPad and iPhone? (as in the following figure)
