Mobile data does not work. Android Lollipop on Nexus 5

I made fun of my 5 connection with the latest version of hammerhead (LRX21O) for android Lollipop. Mobile data does not work, I can connect via WIFI to the Internet, but there is no LTE / 3G connection.

There is some problem for calling and SMS. I have already configured the APS settings correctly.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

thanks

The Cellular Data option has moved from Settings->More->Cellular networks-> to Settings-> Data Usage .

So, enable the "Cellular Data" option. the problem is resolved.

Finally, I changed the MVNO type to any. But Lollipop gave me the wrong configuration for my mobile data. The error persists for ordinary users who do not know how to change the APN configuration. In addition, the APN configuration offered by the vendor also does not work.

If someone understands German ..

His work in my connection is 5 .. (1) First, I chose the network provider manually. (2) From the cellular network, I first selected 2g, and then 3gLTE (3) Reboot (turn off and turn off) my device. Now mobile data connects

I had a similar problem on my Nexus 5 after I rooted it. Previously, everything worked fine for rooting, but then I had the following symptoms: - The data connection was accessible and functional after rebooting. - If the data connection was disconnected, it would not turn back when selected. He returned only after a reboot or occasionally after a while (for example, 1, 2 hours).

I tried to start the radio, but by mistake it was the Preview Preview version (LPX13D). Keep in mind that this version of the radio does not work, and after rooting these problems are related to the lack of access to data. The flashing final version of Lollipop Radio (LRX21O) worked like a charm, and the radio data connection came to life again.

Hope this helps someone need it :)

APN settings are probably not updated during system updates. I fixed mine by going to: -

 >> Settings >> Data Usage >> Then selecting more icon":" on the right top corner next to the search icon >> Select Cellular Network Settings >> Select Access Point Names and >> then Select the APN which was selected before the System Update.

This should solve the problem.

Perhaps check the APN again. I had a similar problem when sometimes I did hava mobile data, and sometimes not. (On Nexus 5, downloaded the OTA update)

Then I noticed that I had several APNs and the wrong APN was selected. I removed the unnecessary APN, and now I'm fine.

Change the APN in the settings and change it in Hangouts.

Thought I would update the answer here, as I scratched my head for 2 days. I am in 3 Mobile UK and have the same problem. I changed all the settings and updated the APN as indicated on the 3rd website, but nothing worked. Then I woke up this morning and it worked.

Not a very good answer, but perhaps this was due to a network update related to Lollipop.

Set the carrier data to 1X or 2g to get a limited connection. Wi-Fi may also work, but I have not tried. Update your PRL and profile. Prioritize shipping data to your preference.

There seems to be a bug with Nexus 5 for a large number of clients. As you guys mentioned, this does not allow Nexus 5 owners to receive calls, SMS or make calls on an unknown or unidentified problem.

My research shows that there is no published solution, and I did not find any evidence that this problem was or was fixed by Google or LG. Hopefully this will be soon when I use my β€œphone” as a browser for the last 2 months or so.

It happened to me once. I used mobile data from my balance, and my balance remained below zero. I turned off mobile data and set up a data plan. But when I turned on mobile data again, it just wouldn't work. Then I filled in some balance to get it above zero, and then my mobile data started working fine. I shared this because I thought it could be with someone else.

You may need to create your APN access point names manually. (if it is not detected automatically)

Your ISP usually provides you with instructions on how to create one. For example, my ISP has a page with instructions. https://www.ptel.com/support/phonesettings

Yours should be similar with different meanings.
