Facebook Object Debugger - Failed to resolve hostname to a valid IP address

There is a problem with how Facebook resets my page for metadata.

When I use the Facebook object debugger, I get the following error: enter image description here

I am sure this is due to how my DNS records are determined. It seems the scraper can't even get to my site. As the error states, it cannot turn the hostname into a valid IP address.

When I click the link down on the page "Look what you are up to ...", I get "The document did not return data."

I try to figure it out in about a month and get VERY VERY upset. Can someone shed light on this topic?

After digging for 3 days, I came to the conclusion that the name servers were not configured correctly.

I use Bigrock for the domain and GoDaddy for hosting, by mistake I set the host name of the hosting host to "Name Server 3" and "Name Server 4". But Facebook is looking for content on the server of the first server "bigrocks-1.com" (the wrong server), but it does not find the hosting and sends "Failed to resolve the host name to a valid IP address".

So do not forget to specify the address of the hosting provider on the name server

Hope this can help you :)

ok I had the same problem and the solution was in dns ... facebook cannot extract the reason for the wrong server name ... you need to contact the hosting service provider where your hosting website is or from where you are brought your domain name and ask for the right nanme s
