How are “RESET to DEFAULT” the colors of a text editor in NetBeans?

I want Netbeans to look like Photoshop CS6, a type of Visual studio. So

  • Dark theme set and
  • I changed some parameters and colors of the code elements to my satisfaction.

And I forgot what changes I made

  1. I tried all the color combinations and got worse
  2. Even reinstallation didn't help me either

I searched a lot to make it default

Go to Tools\Options\Fonts & Colors and click the Restore button.

The help page says:

Click Restore to restore the selected profile to default.

You should go to Tools> Options> Fonts and Colors, and then set the profile to netbeans. which will restore the default colors.

From the Tools> Options> Fonts & Colors menu, change Profile from Today Norway to NetBeans.

I have the same problem and I finally found a solution

create a new instance of net beans, so when you create a new instance, the new instance will now contain the default settings if you do not want the old instance of net beans to delete the older one and start using the new one.

he will work 100%

to create a new instance, this website will help you ...

Alt + Shift + F does a miracle. By the way, I too often came across this problem and noticed that it appears / disappears every time I press a key combination for the code format (Alt + Shift + F)
