Asset catalog compilation error - TDDIstiller instance can only be deleted once

Question

So, I have an application that I create in Xcode, and everything went pretty well. However, suddenly I get an error message:

Images.xcassets: error: ERROR: Each TDDistiller instance can be distilled only one time! 

So, two problems:

1) I have no idea what this means, and Google, Bing, or Yahoo apparently don't.

2) I have no idea how to fix this. I have not changed my asset catalog for several months, so I do not know what could introduce this error.

Any ideas? I'm in Xcode 6.1.1 working on a project focused on iOS 8.1.

Deleting the DerivedData folder for the project fixed the error for me.

Exiting Xcode, exiting Simulator, reopening Xcode and re-building it worked again for me. I don’t know what kind of mistake this is!

In my case, something, possibly related to CocoaPod, caused the creation of my Build directory with lowercase Build . Then Distiller looked for the Asset.car file in the Build capital directory, as you can see from this part of the log

 /Users/user/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Videographer- eubeafyfmzewucdlcmfhmdsusjng/Build/Products/Debug- iphonesimulator/Videographer.app/Assets.car error 'No such file or directory' 

And do not find it. By manually renaming the Build directory to Build I was able to resolve this error. However, I assume this is a temporary fix because the Build directory still exists.

Thanks zode64 . I do not use cocoaPod, in my case I have a problem with the name of my product.

Check out this solution . Editing project.pbxproj fixed my problem.
