How to draw a rounded polyline using the Google Maps iOS SDK?

I want to draw a polyline in the Google Maps SDK for iOS, but the line ends look pretty ugly for me. Is there any way to smooth them or get around? I tried adding a GMSCircle to the end of the line, but the circle will be enlarged compared to the polyline, which will destroy the whole effect.

Is there any other way to achieve this rounding effect?
