Where is the bomb center data center located?

We define our privacy policy and customers (especially in the EU) are concerned about where their data is located. Is this the correct answer or has something changed since 2014?

At Google DevFest in Amsterdam, I heard from Frank van Puffelin who introduced Firebase to us that at that time (10/10/2015) they had a data center in the USA and planned to open it in Europe.

I would like to give you more details, but all that I know.

I also hope that they will open a data center in the EU, as there are recent laws on where our data is stored from EU citizens, and that Safe Harbor legislation will become irrelevant from what I understand (correct me if I'm wrong).
