Imported repo does not update user calendar

I just created a new project in Gitlab and imported my repo. It seems to be working fine and recognized users from the repo that already exist in Gitlab, but nothing is displayed on the separate page of the user in the Commits calendar. Is there a way to get Gitlab to correctly recognize the imported history or display user activity in Gitlab?

Update: I noticed that my commit calendar has been updated correctly. I'm not sure if this is because I was the one who imported the repo, but my colleague who already had a Gitlab account still has nothing on her calendar. Perhaps because they were not invited to participate in the project until I imported the repo?

Do not forget that at present (March 2015), the fixation calendar:

  • Does not take into account the commits that are made for forked projects, and merge operations are not performed. ( question 8931 )
  • not considered a commit when the primary email address does not match the public key. ( issue 8871 )

So far, the commit calendar only supports the primary mailing address.
We will need to check how the calendar works if it should look for all the email addresses.
I will add it to my TODO list for 7.9.
We will work quite a bit on the calendar until the next release.
