Transmission Session Identifiers in URLs (Trans_sid Laravel Session Equivalent)

We make microsites using Laravel 5, which are included as iframes on another web page.

Internet Explorer has a problem that the session cookie does not work in the iframe.

So, we have developed a rather hacky solution for storing session identifiers in URLs.

I am wondering if there is a ready-made solution for this (later I will post my solution as an answer / I will make a good module if there is no good solution)

There is a solution for your cookies to work, and you might want to try, and it might be preferable to put session IDs in URLs.

Cookie blocked / not saved in IFRAME in Internet Explorer

I created an open source module for this problem:

https://github.com/iMi-digital/laravel-transsid

It connects to the session service provider and url generator to write / read the session identifier to / from the URL.
