How to get zipalign for mac?

I already have an unsigned version apk version and I'm trying to sign it on my mac. The final step is to offer a zipalign signed apk, but mac does not have zipalign.

I did a 'brew search' which still cannot find it. I searched on the internet and cannot find a standalone zipalign script. I even downloaded about 90 million Android sdk Tools from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html#Other , but still could not find the zipalign inside.

So my question is, using the apk file to sign on mac, how do I go through the last step of โ€œzipalignโ€?

Thanks, information from RC.

I finally figured it out. I took the following steps:

  • Download 250M + android studio ide dmg from the official site. Drag it to the application folder
  • Open it, and it will automatically download a lot of additional materials.
  • I even created an empty new project.

Then at a certain stage (I'm not sure which step) he created a zipalign here:

~ / Library / Android / SDK / build tools / 22.0.1 / zipalign

If you only need zipalign, you donโ€™t need to repeat these steps, which takes time and disk space. I extracted it in github (I canโ€™t believe that no one extracted it -_-):
