The Difference Between Cloud Foundry and Core Web Services

I read on wikipedia that open source foundry software is available to anyone, while Pivotal Web Services is a commercial product from Pivotal.

I once searched a lot on the Internet, but did not find a single example of the implementation of open source software for foundry casting. All for a Pivotal product that provides 2 months of free trial.

So can anyone tell me what open source software for foundry is? And what is the difference between cloud foundry OSS and Pivotal CF?

Cloud Foundry is open source software, but if you are trying to tinker with it for the first time, using OSS is a bit related. You will need a cloud environment with a predefined area, you will install it yourself using MicroBosh, and everything will be done through the command line.

Pivotal Cloud Foundry is a commercial implementation that simplifies the startup and launch process when you study a project. It provides a hosted environment in Pivotal Web Services, so you do not need to install it yourself, a web interface that simplifies environment management, and a number of pre-prepared services, including relational databases and message queues. This is the best starting point if you are just learning technology.

To add to the above answer, Pivotal Cloud Foundry offers a public cloud offering called Pivotal Web Services, where you can register and deploy your applications to the cloud hosted by Pivotal.

On the other hand, they also allow enterprises to host a private cloud environment by installing cloud infrastructure components on VMWare VSphere, AWS, OpenStack. Check this out ( http://docs.pivotal.io/pivotalcf/installing/pcf-docs.html ).
