Failed to configure k-9 mail (k-9-5.107) in the Android app?

I have included the third-party K-9 Mail (k-9-5.107) in my application. I did the integration process, but my problem is that I can’t set up my gmail account. I tried many times, but every time I get problems like

  • Invalid email address and password.
  • Unable to connect to server.
  • Authentication failed.
