Mozilla Firefox Subscription Extension Without Downloading In AMO

I want to sign my add-on, but I do not want to upload my add-on to AMO for verification. What can I do to sign my add-ins with my own certificate? Can someone tell me how to sign an add-in without loading into AMO?
