Blank App (XAML) Equivalent to Visual Studio Community 2015

I am working on the text Head First C # (3rd ed.) With instructions related to VS 2012, and it is difficult for me to find an equivalent in VS Community 2015.

The text talks about starting a new project using the Windows Store → Blank App (XAML), but I do not see it as an option in my version of VS. The closest I could find was a Windows Forms application, but it doesn't look like it didn't generate MainPage.xaml by the way.

WPF is the closest you can get if you are not on Windows 8, the book also says, and it refers to here , where you can get the version of WPF partitions.

You are right, the Windows Forms application will be completely different. Although this may not be identical:

New project -> Visual C # -> Windows -> Windows 8 -> Windows -> Blank App (Windows 8.1), probably the closest.
