Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 Forces Install / Uninstall permanently

I am installing Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 on windows 7 . He was stuck for hours on a step. (I forgot at what stage.) Then I restarted and installed again. It was successfully installed, but the visual studio gave strange errors when creating projects. Therefore, I started repair during installation. He gets stuck again using the " Windows Phone 8.1 SDK ". There was no progress even when I left it for the night.

Now I'm trying to uninstall update 5. But it gets stuck again when applying the " Windows Phone 8.1 SDK ".

There was the same problem. After blocking the activity of the antivirus, the removal speed increases many times. is he still slow, yes, but I see as the progress bar progresses. All uninstallation takes about 40 minutes.

Another function I used was not removing from the control panel, but from the command line using the /force key

 cd c:\ dir /s vs_community.exe

Thus, you will find all folders containing vs_community.exe. Select one of c: \ ProgramData. cd to him. Launch

 vs_community.exe /force /uninstall

This helps to overcome some possible blocking situations.

If the uninstall process requires additional files and their addresses in a pop-up message, download them and provide the download folder to the uninstall wizard. Sometimes this will not help, but then you can simply ignore it by canceling the message. After removal, you can find these parts of the SW problem by name in the control panel and delete them separately.

This method helps, even if you have several different Visual Studio installations, some of which are damaged.
