How does Apple count iAd banner impressions?

How Apple Counts iAd Banner Displays I understand that this is not a programming issue, but it greatly affects the implementation of iAds . I use a common banner instance - the same banner on all view controllers.

I have an application that hides a banner when the viewController fashionably presents another view controller. If the banner is visible but becomes invisible during the transition to the second view controller (only for a short period of time), is this an impression? Is there a period of time that must pass before the banner counts as an impression? Should this period of time be contagious or am I allowed to show an addition, for example. 5 seconds, 3 seconds, when the addition is invisible, than the same addition is visible for another 25 seconds? Is that another impression? How about using a shared banner instance? If I make a transition from one VC to another, this common banner instance does not appear for 0.5 seconds. Does this gap break impression creation? Are ad impressions bannerViewDidLoadAd in the bannerViewDidLoadAd method?

Apple does not go into details on this.

From the iAd Workbench Glossary of Terms :

Impressions The number of users to which your ad is exposed. iOS, regardless of whether they click on your banner ad.

Try to contact them directly .

I would suggest that for every ADBannerView that is populated and displayed on the screen for a minimum duration of seconds, it is considered an indicator.
