How to use Grafana with my private OAuth server?

According to the Grafana documentation , you can configure OAuth with google or github accounts. I have my own OAuth server, can I use it? Has anyone ever tried to do this?

If not possible, is it possible to protect the Grafana interface with OAuth? Perhaps a reverse proxy?

Since Grafana 4 is doable. You get another OAuth option called Generic OAuth . See http://docs.grafana.org/installation/configuration/#auth-generic-oauth . It works, for example, with CloudFoundry UAA.
