Deploy to an Android device not found in Visual Studio

I am trying to deploy the Apache Cordova application on an Android device connected to the device. However, when I try to deploy, I get the following error:

Failed to install on Android device, no connected device was found. If you recently connected the device, you may need to wait a few seconds before it is recognized.

As far as I know, I have included all the necessary developer options for deployment to the device. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting it, waiting a few seconds, but to no avail.

I tried to change the connection modes (HTC Sync, Disk Drive ect), however this did not affect.

The Android device I'm trying to deploy is quite old (v3.35.61.3), so I even tried to install it on another Android device with the latest version of Android, however the same problem occurs.

This leads me to believe that the problem with Visual Studio is not related to any connected Android devices. Perhaps I am missing the installation package?

After several head bangs on the wall, I managed to fix it.

I followed these instructions to install the SDK for the target device.

There was still a problem where the abd devices command was still not showing up on any devices, I installed the Universal ABD driver , which I found in this question, and it worked for me.

EDIT

Some of you have found that the following may also fix the problem:

  • Enable Developer options on the device.
  • Enable USB Debugging .

It might be worth a try first, and if that doesn't work, try what I did.

I ran into this problem and I was sure that everything was installed. After a few thoughts that I tried to deploy again, and in the developerโ€™s settings on the device, I turned off USB debugging, then turned it back on, and I was asked to recall my fingerprint on the computer. After that, everything worked.

I also had this problem (I cannot answer it because my roar is too low), and I found out that when my phone is updated, it disables USB debugging. It is worth the time to check.

I had the same problem on my S4. When I turned on the developer options, the "Disable USB debugging" function was disabled. As soon as I turned around, the problem was fixed.
