I have a very specific answer for which I am looking. I hope there is someone who is smart enough to point me in the right direction.
Background: I have an Android phone (LG Power on 5.0 rooted) as well as a Nexus 10 with 6.0. In my house I installed a very nice PA system to which I would like to transmit audio. I am fully capable of connecting a 3.5mm cable to listen to audio or to transmit audio via WiFi.
However, I am a stubborn person and always thought about streaming audio from one device to another via bluetooth. Android, after all, is Linux.
After a search on the Internet, quite widely, it seems, LOTS of people who would like to find a solution. There are answers from:
"It is impossible to do,"
"Why do you do this?" before
'That's all you might need. Get out. Oh, and by the way, there might be more that you need
I do not find these answers satisfactory and would like to place a request there for a whole higher intellect than myself in order to find an easy one (which does not require creating a custom ROM, changing the kernel, creating your own application, etc.) to achieve this goal.
Here is one source that seems to be very close to the answer: Android device as a receiver for A2DP profile
If you need more information, PLEASE ASK!
Thank you in advance for all the hard work and efforts that are posted on this site. I am sincerely grateful to all the people who want to take the time to help themselves, invalid when it comes to the intricacies of Android.
