The release announcement for Mercurial 2.0 mentions a new transplant team, which at first glance looks like a transplant extension. What is the difference between the two? Does the transplant collect any transplant problems with the transplant, and if so, what are they?
Graft uses Mercurial internal merging, and transplantation uses a repair mechanism. Therefore, the graft should be able to handle tripartite fusions better than transplantation at present.
From the hg graft documentation, it looks like the opposite extension graft that processes only branches within the same repository, but cannot process different repositories.
