How to customize the style of a Google app for apps

We have implemented the Google App Invites app on Android. It works, but does not look like an integrated part: the gray status bar, the blue toolbar, and the default font simply do not match our application. And the blue toolbar is not like the native part of the OS.

How can we set the status bar color, toolbar color and font?

The invitation page cannot be customized at this time. However, the invitation can be fully customized using HTML starting with Google Play Services 8.4.0.
