Send final welcome mail using Mailchimp API v3.0 without double insertion

I would like to use the Mailchimp v3.0 API to send the final welcome mail without going through the double-reject procedure.

If I set the status to β€œpending,” I get a double option, at least sometimes, and, of course, the final greeting email, as described in this post Implement Doublech-Opt-In Mailchimp with API 3.0

But I would like to do this without double failure, as indicated, should work automatically in this message. Sending a welcome email when using the Mailchimp API 3 List / Member Method

I assume the last message also requires a double rejection, even if it is not mentioned in the message.

Anyone able to do this in version 3.0? I can do this in version 2.0, but would like to use 3.0 in the future.

Set the status of "Subscription" to avoid double rejection. Regarding the sending of the final greeting letter, you can try to configure this option from the form builder (final greeting email, tick "Send final greeting email address") or from the list settings (list name and default values, check "Send final greeting address email ")) as described here: http://kb.mailchimp.com/lists/signup-forms/enable-or-disable-final-welcome-email

I needed the same functionality, but, unfortunately, the final welcome email is only sent after the person has completed the double selection. Thus, at the moment, Mailchimp does not support this out of the box in the list settings and you must resort to other ways to send this kind of mail to your users.

Fortunately, you can achieve the same behavior with the Mailchimp automation function: https://help.mailmunch.com/hc/en-us/articles/206143089-How-to-Enable-MailChimp-s-Welcome-Email-

For reference, the option to send the final greeting mail in the Mailchimp list control panel has a tooltip that clearly reads:

When people choose your list, send them an email in which they will be happy to inform you.
