Description field api app indexing approid app

The official guide very clearly explains how to get a specific page of the application in google autocomplete. When I follow the description, I can go from the autocomplete offer to the page in the application. The autocomplete clause has an application icon along with the name that was set to .setName(mTitle) . However, it is not clear to me what role .setDescription(mDescription) plays. Where is this description visible? Does it appear in search results if the application is indicated as a result?

Google indexes both the title and description to populate autocomplete results. Thus, even if you are looking for any content that is not in the title, but there in the description, this page will be displayed in the results of automatic completion. The description is not displayed directly (to answer the second question), but the page is displayed as usual. Take a look at the page for more information.
