The composer hangs on "Resolution of dependencies through SAT" on 4.2

Question

Things I tried:

• Removing everything except Laravel (version 4.2. *). This quits, but still hangs for about 5 minutes.
• Composer Update
• Removal / Provider
• Performing a cleanup of a Laravel 4.2 installation (takes about 3 minutes)
• Perform Laravel 5 cleanup (do not hang at all)
• Disabling xdebug completely (doesn't seem to matter)

With all my packages, I saw the composer, but only when I left him for the night. I can’t deploy to fake, because it's time! It started only two weeks ago.

For anyone looking for an answer ... here's what helped increase productivity:

• Commit composer.lock : if you don’t do this, you can run “composer update” on one computer and then execute the lock file, then run the “linker” to install on top of each other. This saved our deployment process!
• Usually declare versions as clear as possible.
