How is the event "first_open" in the analytic bomb account?

In my analysis of events in firebase, "first_open" shows 489 downloads until July 7, but in the statistics of the game store it shows 347 downloads until July 7, I do not know why this is not. is different.

First_open definition: -

When the user opens the application for the first time.

This event does not fire when a user downloads an application to a device, but instead uses it first. To view the original download numbers, go to the Google Play Developer Console or iTunesConnect.

But when the user opens my application for the first time - it is 489, then in the playback store it should also be 489 or more, I do not know why this is happening?

I have doubts that some users downloaded my application and opened my application, the firebase first_open count event increased by 1, that if the user deletes and reinstalls after some time, then he will again increase the first_firebase analytics report.

There are a number of reasons why the number of first_open will differ from the settings on Google Play or the App Store. You mentioned one key difference in our documentation. You also pointed to the second - if the user installs, opens, uninstalls and reopens the application, which will be considered one installation in Play and two first_opens in Firebase.

The last important difference is that when existing users switch to a new version of your application that includes Firebase, they will log the first_open event. And therefore, although they are not new users, they register first_open. In the near future, we will change this behavior so that such events are filtered out of your first_open event report. However, these events will be exported to BigQuery and will have a flag that means that first_open has been associated with the new Firebase integration.

In any case, as soon as most of your users switch to this first version of your application built into Firebase, this will be a less important factor in your reports.
