Spell Checking in Rstudio

Question

How to set up and use spell checking in Rstudio? In Tools> Global Option> Spelling I installed the main dictionary in English (USA) and the user dictionary as en_us from "/usr/lib/rstudio/resources/dictionaries/en_US.dic".
However, I do not see any indication (for example, red make) on the misspelling!

RStudio does not have a spell check like yours; you will need to manually trigger a spell check. To do this, go to the "Edit" menu and select "Check Spelling" or press "F7".

Please note that spellchecking is not performed in code files, only in document files (i.e. you will not receive spellchecking of the .R file, but you will be in the .Rmd file).
