Jekyll Pagination for multiple pages

Question

So right now I have the following in my config.yml :

gems: [jekyll-paginate] paginate: 3 paginate_path: "page:num" 

So, on my index.html page, I have the following:

 {% for post in paginator.posts %} Stuff {% endfor %} 

I'm having trouble figuring out how I will create separate category pages and have a pagination for them.

Can someone help me shed some light? I searched Google forever and I couldn’t find anything.

Jekyll only manages pagination.

If you want to break pages into categories, you will need a plugin, for example https://github.com/midnightSuyama/jekyll-paginate-category .
