Byobu Mouse Scrolling - [OSX + Iterm2]

I am trying to enable the mouse scroll function in my local (non-ssh) byobu installation.

What I tried to do:

  • Pressing the F7 key and scrolling with the mouse leads to the following Invalid scrolling

  • Enable Save Scroll Lines option in Iterm2 Save lines for scroll option

  • Changed my ~ / .tmux.conf to

    set -ga terminal-overrides 'xterm*: smcup@ : rmcup@ ' set-option -g mouse on

Nothing allows you to enable mouse scrolling. I read almost all the information about StackOverflow and Google to no avail.
