Question

I kept getting

403 Forbidden nginx / 1.11.9

I am already running: sudo composer update

I think I set the correct permissions.

I had it like

root / home / forge / distributor-application / laravel;

I updated it to

root / home / forge / distributor-application / laravel / public;

Ultimate appearance

 server { listen 80 default_server; listen [::]:80 default_server; server_name default; root /home/forge/distributor-application/laravel/public; ... } 

My site is loading now.

 chown -R forge:forge /path/to/web/root
