Qpid URL of the proton for receiving messages from this subscription (topic)

Question

I would like to read subscription messages from the service bus. I am using qpid-proton library for python. I follow this link to receive Proton-Python-Example-Simple-Receive messages. I pass this url to receive messages from the service bus -

 url = 'amqps://mynamespace.servicebus.windows.net/SharedAccessKeyName=xxxx/SharedAccessKey=xxxxxxxxx/python-test/Subscriptions/AllMessages' # python-test is the name of the topic # AllMessages is the name of the subscription 

I get the following ERROR:root:The messaging entity 'sb://mynamespace.servicebus.windows.net/sharedaccesskeyname=xxxxx/sharedaccesskey=xxxxxxxxxxxxx/python-test/subscriptions/allmessages' could not be found. This is because the above URL is not formed correctly. I was looking for a network and there was no proper documentation in this regard. What will be the correct URL format for reading subscribed messages via qpid.

Please try changing your url as below.

amqps://<SAS Policy Name>:<SharedAccessKey>@mynamespace.servicebus.windows.net/python-test/Subscriptions/AllMessages
