Can I use EF Core 2.0 in production applications?

Here on this blog they say .net standard 2.0 has a consistency state.

He does not say in the official website that .net standard 2.0 is preliminary or final.

But I guess .net standard 2.0 is in the final version because EF Core 2.0 is complete and it uses .net standard 2.0. Maybe EF Core might be in the final release, and the .net 2.0 standard is still a preview, but I think that would be weird.

In addition, I know that to use the .net standard I have to use VS2017 15.3, that is, in the third version of the preview, and he says that this is not for production applications.

So my question is: if .net standard 2.0 is the version of the sequence (I don’t know if this means the final version), and EF Core 2.0 is also the final version, but I need VS 2017 15.3 to use it, but VS 2017 15.3 not recommended for production, does that mean that then it is not a good option to use EF Core 2.0 in production applications?

Thanks.

I think you are misleading the .NET Standard with the .NET kernel . The first was finalized , but the latter is still in the preview .
